OUR PROCESS

PREP WORK

One of the most important, but often overlooked aspects of interior painting is the prep work that is done before any painting begins. Our team will fix imperfections on ceilings and walls, repair stress cracks, caulk any gaps in the trim, fill nail holes and make sure all surfaces are clean and dust free. Proper Painting also offers dustless sanding. Our full unit HEPA dust extractor is tested and certified to filter and exhaust air particles to 0.3 microns with at least 99.7% efficiency.

QUALITY PRODUCTS

Choosing quality painting products makes a big difference in how well the paint covers the interior surfaces of your home, how long it protects your walls, ceilings, and woodwork, and in how long the fresh color lasts. Using a high-quality product is going to give you an exceptional finish that lasts.

LET’S GET TO WORK

Once all the surfaces are taped off and the prep work is complete, the real changes start to take place. Our detail-oriented team carefully applies paint throughout the work area making sure the color is accurate and the integrity of the trim remains beautifully intact.

We treat your home as if it was our own. We are very thorough when it comes to making sure all areas of your home such as floors, countertops, or any furniture are completely covered and protected. So much so our slogan is “We’ve Got It Covered!”

We make sure our workspace is clean and organized at the end of each day and we receive many compliments on how well we clean up at the end of the job!

GETTING STARTED

Before we come into your home, here are some helpful tips to streamline the processes.

  1. Remove all small items that could easily break throughout the process.

  2. Make arrangements to keep pets out of the work area.

  3. If the bathroom is being painted, remove towels and personal items.

  4. Move furniture to the middle of the room and clean underneath to prevent dust particles from getting into the fresh paint.
